Golden Mister

18+Gambling should stay a pastime, never a way to make money. Set your own limits before you deposit, and if play stops feeling like a choice, free confidential help is at BeGambleAware or on our responsible gaming page.

Data & Privacy

Privacy Policy

This notice sets out the categories of personal information Golden Mister handles, the reasons we hold it, and the choices open to you as the person that information describes. It applies to the website, the mobile interface and any correspondence you exchange with our support team.

Information we gather

When you register we ask for your full name, date of birth, residential address, email address and telephone number. These details establish that you are eligible to hold an account and allow us to reach you about matters affecting your balance.

Verification documents form a second category: photographic identification, a recent utility bill or bank statement, and — where a card is used — a partially masked image of that card. These files are stored in encrypted form and are visible only to the small verification team.

A third category arises automatically as you browse. It includes the IP address assigned by your provider, the device model and operating system, browser fingerprint attributes, the pages you open and the timestamps of each request. We also record wagering history, deposit and withdrawal records, and the content of live-chat conversations.

Why we hold it

The primary purpose is contractual: without your details we cannot open an account, credit a deposit, settle a bet or pay a withdrawal. Processing for this purpose continues for as long as the account remains open.

A second purpose is regulatory. Anti-money-laundering rules and the conditions attached to our gaming licence oblige us to identify customers, monitor unusual transaction patterns and retain the resulting records. We cannot waive these obligations at a customer's request.

We also process information to protect the platform — detecting duplicate registrations, bonus abuse, automated play and payment fraud — and, where you have agreed, to send offers matched to the game categories you actually use. Consent to marketing is separate from consent to hold an account and may be withdrawn at any time.

Who else sees your data

Payment processors receive the minimum necessary to move funds. Identity-verification bureaux receive the documents you upload in order to confirm they are genuine. Game studios receive an anonymised session identifier so that a round can be reconstructed if a dispute arises.

Our regulator, and law-enforcement bodies acting under a valid legal instrument, may require disclosure. In such cases we comply without notifying you where notification would itself be unlawful.

Some of these partners operate outside the European Economic Area and the United Kingdom. Where that is so, transfers are covered by standard contractual clauses or an equivalent safeguard. We do not sell personal information to data brokers or advertising networks under any circumstances.

Cookies and similar technologies

Strictly necessary cookies keep you signed in and preserve the contents of your game session; the site cannot function without them. Preference cookies remember settings such as language and sound.

Analytics and marketing tags are loaded only after you accept them in the consent banner, and your choice is recorded so we can demonstrate it later. Rejecting them limits the personalisation you see but does not restrict access to any game.

You may clear or block cookies through your browser at any point. Doing so may sign you out of Golden Mister and reset preferences you had previously saved.

Retention and your rights

Account and transaction records are kept for a minimum of five years after the relationship ends, as required by financial-crime legislation. Marketing preferences and analytics data are kept for shorter periods and are deleted or aggregated once their purpose is exhausted.

Subject to local law you may ask for a copy of what we hold, request correction of anything inaccurate, object to marketing, or ask for erasure where no overriding legal duty requires retention. We answer such requests within one calendar month and may extend that period once for complex cases, telling you why.

Because releasing data to the wrong person is itself a breach, we will verify your identity before acting on any request. If you are dissatisfied with our response you may escalate to the supervisory authority in your country of residence.

Where to turn

  • Data protection enquiries — use the privacy request form in the Golden Mister help centre
  • Account and verification questions — live chat, available daily through your logged-in profile
  • Supervisory authority in your jurisdiction, if you wish to complain about our handling of a request
This notice describes our present practices and is reviewed periodically; the version published on this page at the time you read it is the one that applies. Where a mandatory provision of your national data-protection law grants you a stronger right than this notice describes, that provision takes precedence.
